The first 1000 days

Conception to age two provides a once-in-a-lifetime ‘window of opportunity’ for mother-and-child nutrition. The Livelihoods and Food Security Trust Fund (LIFT) launched a short video in Yangon on the importance of good nutrition in a child’s first 1000 days, supporting the Scaling Up Nutrition Movement in Myanmar. In partnership with the Department of Health’s National Nutrition Centre, the video was produced by the LIFT-funded initiative Leveraging Essential Nutrition Actions to Reduce Malnutrition (LEARN), a consortium of Save the Children International, Helen Keller International and Action Contre La Faim.
