Liberia election: Votes counted in Sirleaf-Tubman contest

Election officials said Tuesday’s vote went off peacefully, with no violence reported.

President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf, who was first elected in 2005, is facing her strongest challenge from former diplomat Winston Tubman.
