United Nations Warns 400,000 Yemeni Children at Risk of Starvation

The World Health Organization warned on 12 February, that 400,000 children were at risk of starvation in 2021. This was information from a UN report that indicated that 2.3 million children under 5 years of age would suffer from acute malnutrition while within that number 400,000 would suffer from Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) which, if untreated, leads to death from starvation or disease. This UN joint report of February 12, 2021 was from WHO, UNICEF, FAO and WFP.
