United Nations Food Systems Summit 2021

by United Nations

The United Nations will host a Food Systems Summit (UNFSS) in 2021 – in September or October. This Summit will be unique in that it will be open to everyone to participate (as a virtual summit). The Summit’s purpose is to raise awareness and elevate public discussion about how reforming our food systems can help us all to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by implementing reforms that are good for people and the planet.

The planning process is currently in place and information can be found at https://www.un.org/en/food-systems-summit
