Mubarak to face conspiracy charges in protest shootings

ALEXANDRIA, Egypt — Egypt’s top prosecutor said Tuesday that ousted president Hosni Mubarak will stand trial in an alleged conspiracy to kill demonstrators in February’s uprising and could face the death penalty if convicted.
